The Moon
The moon has a face like the
clock in the hall; She shines on thieves on the garden wall, On streets
and fields and harbour quays, And birdies asleep in the forks of the
trees.
The squalling cat and the squeaking mouse, The howling dog by
the door of the house, The bat that lies in bed at noon, All love to be
out by the light of the moon.
But all of the things that belong to
the day, Cuddle to sleep to be out of her way; And flowers and children
close their eyes Till up in the morning the sun shall arise.
Is Everyone ready for the Yuletide celebrations? I know I am! This is truly an exciting season,as we now enter in earnest the heart of winter and the quieter persuits that the deepening night brings. This is an excellent time for reflection and study, particularly of the self....The sun's energy wanes and is fleeting, yet the moon's energy is on the rise and abundant. What better time than this to spend time with family and friends playing games, talking and learning together...perhaps baking with your daughters and wood crafting with your sons and then sharing the results in the form of lovely Yule gifts for friends and family? However you spend your time this season, remember that life is a garden and the seeds we sow now are to be the crop we harvest later. Always, work with love.
